Focus of this presentation:
Between Washington State Ed Tech Standards, 21st Century Skills, NETS, and the CCSS, technology integration is here to stay. Preparing our students for the digital world in which they live, study, and will work is a primary part of our jobs as classroom teachers and media specialists. Creating opportunities for classroom teachers to make the integration simple, meaningful and more engaging for learners really is easier than ever. It seems complicated, but we can make those connections fun, purposeful and with much less angst than teachers expect. In this interactive session, you will explore a variety of websites for assessment, instruction and student access to digital literacy skills.
